Anthony Penderis is a seasoned journalist, former magazine editor, and publicist. He qualified with an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering after which his keen interest in all things human led him to complete courses in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, philosophy, political philosophy, speech and drama, and creative writing.
After a short career as civil engineer and lecturer he turned to journalism which culminated in a Dubai post as Managing Editor: Magazines at the largest publishing house in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries.
As journalist and publicist he produced numerous articles on behalf of his clients in a variety of specialized disciplines such as the leisure industry, agriculture, wine, sport, science, politics, finance, property, and the small satellite industry. His grounding in mathematics, physics, and the biological sciences enables him to write with authority in specialized scientific fields such as the space industry, genetics, evolution, and agriculture.
He has published two books to date namely Die Jakkalskafee en ander Stories (a collection of Afrikaans short stories) and The Carpet Mind: The Laws of Thinking Defined (a theory on the mechanics of the thinking process).
